We Make A Wish for 2020

December 25, 2019

Happy Holidays everyone! In 2019, we released six unique one-shot encounters, gained over 3500 followers on Instagram, released 50+ Magic Items, Spells, and Potions for 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons. We launched our website, Patreon, and online store all within the last year, and we could not be more thankful to each and every one of our Patrons. They made it happen! Their support of Ink and Lyre inspires us to keep creating the content you love and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing next year. We have some new products we want to announce today as our ‘Wish’ for Ink and Lyre 2020.

Ink and Lyre has always had the vision to create more physical products for you all to enjoy. We started last year by producing uniquely illustrated apparel and this year we’re going to start producing our very own artisanal dice! This has been a dream of Lauren’s for a while now and we are so excited to show you all what we can do. We’re in the early testing phase now and hope to launch a monthly dice tier exclusive for Patrons in January or February of 2020.

We noticed that our Patrons, seemed to enjoy Ink and Lyre more when we themed all of our content around a specific idea. Whether it was Spooky Seas or #25daysofDND, Ink and Lyre is better when we dive deep into fun themes. In 2020, we’re theming each month around one of the player classes in 5th edition. We asked our patrons to vote in a poll to see which we would start with and the result was a tie between Warlock, Rogue, and Monk. You can expect encounters built for these classes (heist anyone?), items that emphasize their skills, and unique ideas for character backgrounds.

Finally, we will be bringing a Dungeons and Dragons show to Twitch. We have an idea to produce a show that is completely different than anything else on the internet right now and we believe it will be extremely entertaining. We’re still working out some of the details now, but expect a launch of the stream in the first quarter of next year.

Don’t forget, Ink and Lyre is taking a short break to spend time with our families for the Holidays and will be back with our regularly scheduled content on January 6th. Thank you to all of our Patrons for their support of Ink and Lyre. Without them, none of this would be possible. We can’t wait to see how Ink and Lyre grows in 2020!
